Yes, we will be adding more Be the Brewer dates in the future. At the moment, we are waiting on planning permission for a new premises (so long as the committee sits in July, we will have an answer!). We are waiting to release more dates until we know when we might potentially be moving. So fingers crossed by early August we will be able to release more dates!
All unused vouchers are valid for the full price of the experience day, regardless of their purchase price. If your voucher code is no longer for the full amount online, just send us an email to info@burnsidebrewery.co.uk, contact us on Facebook or Instagram or give us a call with your code and we can organise your booking.
What happens during a brewery experience day?
Well, have you ever wanted to spend a Saturday making and tasting beer? We will take you through the process from start to finish, explaining the science behind crafting recipes and the natural microbes at work. You can do everything - from mashing the grain, adding the hops, to pitching the yeast. Plus, we are just 200m from Laurencekirk train station, with regular trains going South to Montrose and North to Aberdeen.
A few weeks after the brew day, you get a case of the beer that you made! (Collection from the brewery or delivery to be paid on the brew day) It's a full day (from 10 AM to 5 PM), so we will make sure you are well watered and fed. Experiences are limited to 10 guests, so make sure you book early if you have a big group.
Gift vouchers are available to buy online or in store.
Already have a group of friends you'd like to brew with? Private group events can be arranged. Email info@burnsidebrewery.co.uk, give us a call or contact us via our website. Perfect for: - birthdays - stag or hen parties - corporate events - reunions - anybody who loves beer. If your brew day is a stag or hen party, we can also provide some of the beer you've helped make for your wedding (if it is at least 4 weeks after the brewery day).
After you've booked, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Full joining instructions for the day will be sent to you via email nearer the event. Feel free to familiarise yourself with the brewing process before you get here.
